This place is amazing! The people are the sweetest and nicest people. I don’t know much Italian and they still went out of there way to teach and help me with my sandwich. Highly recommend

Tornato qui dopo anni, ci trovo i gestori nuovi: Cinesi.. Ciò non tragga in inganno, portano avanti la tradizione di questo storico bar genovese sotto i portici di caricamento, luogo già di per se speciale. Mangerete panini con ogni sorta di salume e contorno, da formaggi e sott'olio fenomenali e variegati. Ottimi i funghi porcini. Stra consigliato, non lasciate Genova senza passare da qui

Don't be fooled; they're carrying on the tradition of this historic Genoese bar under the loading arcades, a place already special in itself. You'll find sandwiches with all sorts of cured meats and side dishes, from cheeses to a variety of phenomenal pickles. The porcini mushrooms are excellent. Highly recommended; don't leave Genoa without stopping by.
